Theo Walcott is consistently being critiqued for his lack of goals and string of underwhelming performances.
The English winger is struggling to find a consistent spot in the lineup of Arsene Wenger and its now being rumored that he might be on his way of joining Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
Liverpool has recently been linked with Walcott but considering that he has a contract with Arsenal which extends for 3 more years, a considerably high offer might be needed in order to secure the services of the 27 year old player.
Walcott has weekly earnings of around Weekly wage: £110,000 and this is a pretty steep fee for a player that is barely getting any playing time for Arsenal. It’s beneficial for Walcott if he opts to make a switch to another club, maybe somewhere where his chances to appear on the main team are higher and that can happen if a summer transfer move to Liverpool occurs.
The lack of playing time from Theo Walcott is even starting to affect his chances of appearing in the England squad for the upcoming 2016 Euro’s squad, with even the Cherry casino gutscheincode website making fun of his lack of playing time by offering him free goes on their slots!?
If Liverpool is indeed interested in signing Theo Walcott, it would not be such a big blow for Arsenal taking into consideration that there are players who can operate on the right wing including players such as: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joel Campbell and Alex Iwobi.
Matt Le Tissier is a former footballer who spent the majority of his playing career performing for Southampton who is now working as a football pundit and he believes that Theo Walcott is well on his way on making a switch to Anfield and join Liverpool. Le Tissier voiced his thoughts about what will happen in relation to Walcott’s near future and he said:
"I think he's in real danger of missing out on the Euros, I really do, and if he wants to be a first-choice striker he needs to be looking at one of the teams outside the Champions League challengers to have that guaranteed. I'd happily have him back at Southampton. He's obviously slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal. Alex Iwobi is now starting and Joel Campbell has also been picked ahead of him, so he's got to be asking questions."
