Everton defender Seamus Coleman has expressed his dismay over the team’s performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Toffees produced a disappointing showing against the west Midlands outfit on the road and they succumbed to a 3-0 defeat which has ended their prospects of qualifying for Europe.

Speaking after the game, Coleman said that the Toffees don’t have anywhere to hide after the dismal performance at the Molineux Stadium. He added that the team were outplayed all over the pitch and the showing was not worthy of the football club, he told: "It was shocking, really, really bad. No hiding places. They were better all over the pitch. We need to ask some serious questions of ourselves.

“We can all play bad, misplace passes but when the attitude isn't there and the desire isn't there. We got beaten by the better team. Maybe we're not where we think are - we're 11th in the table for a reason. As individuals and as a club we expect better. We need to dig in - myself included - as that won't be good enough for this manager. And is most certainly not good enough for this football club with the way I've been brought up through this football club.”
The Toffees have stayed clear of the relegation zone under Carlo Ancelotti, who took charge of the club in December. While they have caught the eye with the impressive home run, the same has not been the case on the road where they have accumulated only 15 points from 18 matches. They are currently 11th on the table with 45 points.

Sheffield will definitely post the biggest challenge for them, considering the game will be played at Bramall Lane, where the Blades have suffered only four league defeats this term. Sheffield won the reverse meeting with a 2-0 score.
